The Soaring Price of Sterling
I've been selling sterling silver jewelry since 2003, but soaring prices recently forced the company that I represented to close its doors for good. Take a look at this chart - silver has more than DOUBLED in price since 2009.

Even the largest sterling direct sales company (Company "S") has been affected - which adjusted its comp plan, making it easier for leaders to keep their rank. Smaller companies set their catalog prices months and months ago and still have to sell at that price (as their profits take a nose dive). My company didn't survive it and it won't be the last.
I am continuing to sell at my local events but have realized that sterling silver jewelry (a luxury item) is no longer a viable option in direct sales. I love it and will wear nothing else (I really AM a Silvergirl) but my direct sales career is going in a different direction.
A Different Kind of Pampering!
I'll still pamper myself with sterling jewelry, but I have discovered a company that offers:
- bath, body and home spa products with natural, plant-based ingredients
- a simple, healthy way to augment your daily beauty and skin care routine
- no DEA, parabens, petroleum products or sodium laurel sulfates
- products proudly MADE IN THE U.S.A. with GREAT hostess benefits!
- a fantastic business opportunity with WEEKLY commission checks!
- a woman-owned company with outstanding customer service (or I wouldn't BE there!)
